Clifton Day

VRE participates in the annual Clifton Day Festival, an event where you can enjoy fine arts, crafts, and antiques in the historic town of Clifton. Kids will enjoy the music, family entertainment and the civil war re-enactment. VRE offers service for the event from Manassas to Clifton to Rolling Road and  back to Clifton and all stops in between. The train ride to Clifton is FREE and the return trip costs $5 for kids and adults, babies under two ride free.

Clifton Day is now in its 55th Year!

The annual festival takes place in the historic town of Clifton and features a marketplace with around 150 artisans, antique dealers, vintage sellers and other vendors. Live music, children’s activities, pony rides, a beer & wine garden and other delicious food and beverage choices add to the fun. Clifton Day is family-friendly event but please leave your pets at home. 

Clifton Day is the only day of the year when the train stops in the town. VRE will provide round-trip train service to Clifton from all stops between Manassas and Rolling Road. The train ride to Clifton is free and the return trip costs $5 per person (children under age two ride free).
