Purchasing Tickets on VRE Mobile

Step 1: Along the bottom of your screen, you'll see five tabs. Select the "Buy Tickets" tab. Then, select your line, origin and destination stations. Note riders traveling only between Alexandria and Union Station can ride either line and tickets will be honored as long as origin and destination stations are correct.

Step 2: After clicking "Next," select the quantity needed for each ticket type. (Learn about Ticket Types.) Click the "Buy Ticket" button at the bottom of the page when ready to checkout.

Step 3: Change or add payment information, then click "Complete Your Order."

Step 4: You will receive a message that the transaction was successful.
